Ashraf Brothers

Our shop is located at 8-13/8/26 in Kattedan, within the Rajendranagar Mandal. It’s a family-run thing with my brothers, and we’ve been in this spot for quite some time. The area is very industrial, so it’s always a bit noisy with trucks passing by and people loading goods. Inside, it’s mostly just shelves filled with all kinds of items we sell. We don't have a big fancy display window, everything is just piled up where we can find it. Sometimes it takes a minute to locate a specific part if it’s tucked away in the back, but we usually know where everything is. The floor is just plain concrete and gets quite dusty from the street outside, so we are always dusting things off. My brother sits at the small wooden desk near the entrance to handle the cash and the receipts. We have some long-standing customers who come in and just sit for a while to talk about the local news. It’s a very informal atmosphere. We don't wear uniforms or anything like that, just our regular clothes. If a heavy shipment comes in, we all have to stop what we are doing and help unload it. It’s hard work and the hours are long, but we like being our own bosses. We just keep the shop open and take care of the people who walk in looking for help with whatever they need for their own work.
