Purnia Producer Company Limited

We are situated in Vill-Sarra, specifically in the Tolasarra area of Panchbariata. Purnia Producer Company Limited is run through Rama Nand Mahaldar’s place. We are part of the Kasba block, and if you know this part of Purnia, you know it is all about the land. Our group is made up of local people who grow things for a living. We didn't want to just work alone, so we put this company together to see if we could do better. It is a very simple operation. We don’t have a big staff or a fleet of trucks. Usually, it is just a few of us sitting around and talking about the crops. The village is quiet, and we like it that way. We spend most of our time out in the fields or checking on the storage. Dealing with the weather in Bihar is always a gamble, but we do what we can. People in the Tola know where to find us if they need help with their produce. We don’t have a lot of fancy equipment, just what is necessary to keep the farming going. It's a lot of manual work and long hours under the sun. We are just local farmers trying to make things work in our own village. No one here is looking to be famous; we just want to get the work done right.
