Computer Clinic

We’ve been running Computer Clinic on Power House Road for a good while. It’s a straightforward kind of place. Not much to look at from the outside, but inside we’ve got all the gear to fix whatever computer problems come our way. Power House Road is usually pretty busy, so there’s always something going on outside the window. We see a lot of the same faces from around the neighborhood. Sometimes a laptop just needs a good cleaning because of the dust. Other times it’s something more annoying like a hard drive making clicking sounds. We just take them apart on the big wooden table in the back and see what can be done. It’s just me and a couple of others here. We don’t have a fancy waiting room or anything like that. Just a few chairs if someone wants to wait while we check a cable or something quick. Usually, people just leave their stuff and come back later. We try to keep up with the work but sometimes parts take a few days to get here. That’s just the way it is. We like being on Power House Road because it’s easy for people to find us. No fancy signs, just the work we do every day. It gets a bit messy with all the screws and wires, but we know where everything is. Mostly. Anyway, we're here most days if anyone needs anything.
