Ali International Public School

We are located right on the Main Road in Jokihat, near the Eidgah Hat Kamat Duba. It’s a busy spot especially on market days when there are lots of people around. Our school building is a plain one, nothing too flashy to look at from the street. Inside, we have classrooms for the local kids. We started this because there weren't many schools nearby for the families. Most of our students walk here or come on their cycles. We don't have a big fancy website or any of that modern marketing. We just focus on the daily teaching. The teachers here work hard, even when it’s very hot in Araria during the summer months. We follow the regular syllabus prescribed for us. There is a small courtyard in the middle where we do the morning assembly. It gets a bit dusty when the wind blows hard. We try to keep the place clean but with so many kids running around, it’s a constant job for the staff. Some of our benches are a bit old and have some scratches or marks on them. We don’t mind that as long as they are sturdy enough for the kids to sit on. Lunch breaks are usually loud with everyone sharing their home-cooked food. We know the parents well because most of them live and work nearby. We have a small library, though we could really use more books. Every year we try to add a few more things to the school.
