Bio & Cement

Down in Tower Wali Gali, things can get pretty cramped, but that is where you will find us. We are in Ward No.16 of Shiva Nagar, very close to the Shiv Mandir. You can hear the temple bells from our front door most mornings. Bio & Cement is what we call the place, and we mostly handle building supplies for the people living in this neighborhood. The street is narrow, so getting deliveries in can be a bit of a headache sometimes, but we manage to squeeze the vehicles through. We have bags of cement piled up and some other bits and pieces for construction. People come in on their way to the temple or just folks from the nearby houses who need a bit of help with a leak or a new room. It’s a quiet enough street except for when the kids are playing outside. We spend a lot of time just organizing the stock and talking to the contractors who stop by for a chat. The bio part of the name comes from some of the other products we keep on the shelves, though cement is really the main thing people look for. It’s a plain shop with concrete floors and a desk that has seen better days. We don't have a big sign or anything, just the address and the work we do every day for the community here in Shiva Nagar.
