URBANGRAM DESIGNS AND DEVELOPERS PRIVATE LIMITED is our small company based at 42/389 Gokulamavikkara. If you know the Kanhangad P O area, you probably have passed by us before. We do a mix of design work and development. It’s mostly about sitting down with people and figuring out what they want to build on their land. We have some computers for the drawings and a big table where we spread everything out. It’s not a very formal place. Sometimes the neighbor’s kids are playing nearby and you can hear the local traffic. We just take things one day at a time. Designing houses or buildings takes a lot of patience. We spend a lot of time looking at maps and talking about where the pipes should go. Kanhangad is a nice place to be based. It’s quiet enough to think but close enough to the action. We started this because we liked seeing things go from a sketch to a real building. It isn't always easy, and sometimes there are delays with materials or the weather doesn't help. But we just keep at it. We aren't into big speeches about what we do. We just draw the plans and help get the walls up. That is what fills our weeks. You can usually find one of us in the office if you need to talk about a project.
