Canara Brick Point

Canara Brick Point is located right on Bazaar Road in Hallanki. We are pretty close to the Navodhaya Agency, so most people find us by looking for that. The yard isn’t much to look at, just lots of bricks stacked in rows. It stays quite busy around here because of the bazaar. There is always noise from the street, and people are always walking past. We’ve been here in Hallanki for a while, and it’s a decent place to work. The work is mostly just moving heavy things. We spend a lot of time checking the stacks to make sure they haven't shifted. When it's dry, the dust is everywhere, and when it's wet, it's all mud. That’s just the nature of dealing with bricks. We don't have a big office or anything like that. We mostly stay outside or under the small shed we built. It’s a simple life. We don’t do much fancy talking. If someone needs bricks, they come in and we show them what we have. Some days are slow, and we just sit and watch the traffic go by on Bazaar Road. Other days, we can’t keep up with the loading. We don’t have any big machines, just a few helpers and our own hands. It’s hard work, but it’s honest. We know the people in the town, and they know us. We just keep doing what we do, day in and day out, without making a big fuss about it.
