Vrg Blue Metals is situated out on the Noyal to Paramathi Road. You can find us at Kuppam Crusher Medu. It’s a bit of a drive to get out here in Aravakurichi Taluk. This whole area is known for stone and crushing. Our crushers run for most of the daylight hours. It’s loud and the ground vibrates. You get used to that after the first week. We deal with blue metals in all different sizes. The trucks come in empty and they leave very heavy. There’s no big corporate office here. We just have a small cabin for the records. It gets very hot under the sun in this part of the country. We drink a lot of strong tea to stay focused. The road outside is always busy with transport trucks. We see the same drivers passing by every day. It’s a hard life but it belongs to us. We don't use fancy words for what we do. We crush rocks. Aravakurichi is a place where people work with their hands and we fit right in. We’ve been at this specific location for many years. The hills around us have changed their shape over time. We just keep the machines oiled and the piles moving. It’s a steady pace. No rush and no big stress. Some days the machines act up and we have to fix them ourselves. That’s just work and how it goes at the crusher. We're satisfied with the day’s work.
