If you head over to Sri Amman Complex on Old Buypass Road in Karur, you’ll find us in Room No. 20. Green Globe Computer Services isn’t a big shiny store; it’s more of a workshop where there are usually a few dismantled laptops sitting on the benches. We deal with all sorts of things, from broken screens to computers that just won't turn on for some reason. It gets pretty cramped in here with all the spare parts and cables lying around, but we generally know where everything is. People bring in their machines when they’re frustrated because their work is stuck, so we try to look at things as fast as we can. We don't use a lot of technical jargon because most people just want their stuff fixed so they can go back to using it. Sometimes a repair takes longer because we’re waiting for a specific part to arrive from out of town, and we just have to explain that to the customer. It’s a bit of a walk up to the room, but it’s a good spot in the district for this kind of work. We’ve seen all kinds of old computers over the years, and honestly, some of them are quite a challenge to get running again. We stay fairly busy throughout the week, just plugging away at whatever comes across the counter. It's a simple living, really, just fixing things and helping people with their tech problems.
