Pudurar Mani Betels

At Pudurar Mani Betels, we are located at number 35 on the Karur Main Road in Villadampalayam village. This is a small place where we handle betel leaves and other local products that come from the area. The village itself is quiet but the main road brings a lot of vehicles and people through here every day. We have been here for a long time and our family has always worked in this trade. We don't have a corporate office or anything like that, just our small shop where we sort the leaves and get them ready for the customers. It is hard work because you have to be careful with the leaves so they don't tear or dry out in the heat. We open early in the morning when it is still a bit cool outside. Most of our neighbors in Villadampalayam know us well and they stop by to chat or buy things on their way to the fields. We don't really use any modern marketing, we just rely on people seeing our shop as they drive by on the Karur Main Road. Sometimes the supply of leaves is good and sometimes it is a bit short, depending on the rain we get. We just manage with what we have and keep the business going as best as we can. It is a practical life and we don't expect things to be fancy. My sons help me out when they are home. We just want to provide a decent product to everyone.
