Kumar Interlock Bricks

You can find our yard out on the Salem Bye Pass Road, right near the Chinna Vadugapatty Pirivu Road. We are in the Vennamalai Post area. Kumar Interlock Bricks is a place where we spend a lot of time dealing with heavy machinery and the metal molds. Interlock bricks are a bit different to handle than the regular ones, so we have to be careful with how we move them around. The yard is located right off the main road, so it can be quite noisy with all the trucks and cars passing by at all hours. We have a small office for the papers, but we are mostly out on the floor or in the yard itself. The sun beats down on the concrete, and it gets pretty warm by noon. We just keep the water cooler full and keep moving. We’ve got stacks of finished bricks waiting to go out and bags of raw material coming in. It’s a constant cycle that never really stops. There’s no polished sales pitch or marketing talk here. We just show you what we have in stock and tell you the price for it. Most people around here know the Vennamalai Post area well, so finding us isn’t too hard if you are looking. We just focus on the work at hand and try to stay ahead of the orders that come in. It’s a lot of physical labor every day, but that is the business we are in. We are just regular people working hard out by the bypass road.
