Hotel Mangal

Hotel Mangal is situated right by the Truck Lay Bay. We are in Kodiyalam near the Samayapuram Tolgate. The Mazhi Matha Church is the big landmark nearby. If you are driving towards Trichy on the 639115 route you will pass us. Being near a truck lay bay means we get a lot of drivers and travelers who are tired from long trips. It is a practical location. We don't try to be something we are not. We offer a place to sleep and rest before heading back out on the road. The area can be quite loud with the trucks moving in and out at all hours. We are used to the sound of engines. The building is simple and we keep it that way. We don't have a fancy dining hall. Usually people just want a quick meal and a bed. We spend our days cleaning up and talking to the regulars who stop here every time they drive this route. It is a hard job sometimes because the hours are long but we like the work. We make sure the water is running and the fans are working. It is a basic setup for basic needs. We don't use any big marketing talk. We are just here for the travelers who need a break from the highway. We just do our work and keep the rooms ready.
