I'm writing this from our office here at No.6/9A on Meera Bava Street. We’ve been set up in Karur for a while now. Most days are just about keeping things moving. We deal with various property matters for Cushman&Wakefield India Pvt Ltd and it keeps us quite busy. The street gets a bit crowded during the day but we like being right here in the middle of it. It’s not a fancy glass building or anything like that. Just a regular place where we get our work done. Sometimes the electricity acts up or the internet slows down, but we manage. People come in and out, asking about different buildings or lease details. We try to keep track of everything in our ledgers and on the computers. My desk is near the window so I see a lot of what goes on outside. It isn't a huge team here, just a few of us making sure the paperwork is correct. We handle a lot of emails from the bigger cities too. It is a lot of coordination, really. Karur is a good place to work from even if it’s smaller than Chennai. We’ve got our routine down. Morning tea, checking the files, and answering the phone when it rings. It’s practical work. We don’t spend much time on decorations or big signs. The address is 639 205 if you are trying to find us.
