Air Lines

We are based out of Hassan in Karnataka. It's a quiet enough town compared to the big cities, but we stay busy here at Air Lines. Most people think of big airports when they hear the name, but we are just a local office handling the travel side of things. We've got a small setup with a few desks and some old maps on the wall. The internet can be slow sometimes, which makes the booking process take a bit longer than we'd like. We just sit here and work through the requests as they come in. It’s a lot of looking at screens and talking on the phone. We don't wear uniforms or anything like that. It’s a relaxed atmosphere, maybe a bit too relaxed on some afternoons. Hassan is a nice place to live and work. We see the same people walking by every day. Sometimes they pop in just to say hello or ask about ticket prices for their next trip home. We don't have a big marketing budget, so we just rely on people knowing where we are. It’s a straightforward job. We get the details, find the flights, and print out the papers. There's always a bit of stress when someone's flight is delayed, but we try to help them figure it out. It’s just us trying to make the travel part of life a little less confusing for the locals who need to get away.
