Abb Limited

Our place is at No.1137 in the Chikkaveera Shetty Compound here in Hassan. It’s a bit tucked away, not on the main high street, but it works for us. Abb Limited has this branch to handle the local technical work and orders. The compound can get a bit cluttered with equipment and parts. We spend most of our time looking at technical specs or dealing with maintenance logs. It’s not the kind of place where you’ll find plush carpets. It’s concrete floors and heavy desks. We’ve been working out of this spot for a while now. The team is small and we all know each other's habits. Sometimes we go out to the local stalls for lunch. The work is mostly about making sure the machines and systems we manage are doing what they are supposed to. It’s a practical environment. We don't do much in the way of fancy presentations. If a client comes by, we usually just sit in the back office and talk over a tea. Hassan is a decent place to be based because it's not too crazy like Bangalore. We can get our work done without too many distractions. There’s always some noise from the nearby workshops, but you get used to it after a week or two. We just keep things moving and try to stay on top of the schedule. It’s a steady kind of life that we have here in the compound.
