Shri Ram Mathematics Hub

Salar Ganj Bazar is where we have been running Shri Ram Mathematics Hub. It is one of those old parts of Panipat where everything is close together. We focus on math here because that is what we know best. The shop is small and the street outside is always full of cycles and people walking. It can be hard to find a parking spot if you bring a scooter, so most people just walk or use the local rickshaws. We have some whiteboards and a few benches for the students to sit on. It is a plain space, nothing too special to look at. We start early in the morning and sometimes we are still here when the shops in the bazar start closing up for the night. Math is a subject that takes a lot of time, so we just sit and work through problems one by one. You can hear the sounds of the market all day long. Sometimes it’s a bit distracting, but it’s part of being in Salar Ganj. The students come from all over Panipat, but mostly from the nearby colonies. We don't do any big advertisements. People usually just hear about us from their friends or neighbors. It’s a quiet place inside even if it’s loud outside. We just try to help kids understand their numbers better. It’s just us and the students working through their textbooks every day. That’s the daily routine here at the hub.
