Bhatia Tuition Centre

If you head down Phoosgarh Road and turn into Gali Number-4, you’ll find Bhatia Tuition Centre at house 131. We are right in the middle of Rajiv Puram here in Karnal. It’s a quiet enough street, though the main road gets quite busy during the day. I started this place because I had some extra space and I knew a lot of kids in the neighborhood were struggling with their classes. It’s not a big institution. It’s just a set of rooms where we sit down and look at textbooks. Usually, the students come in after their school gets over. We have a few tables pushed together and some chairs that have seen better days, but they do the job. My family lives nearby too, so this feels like a home project that just grew over time. People in Karnal - 132001 know each other, so most of my students come through word of mouth. I don't bother with flyers or anything like that. We just focus on the chapters that the kids find hard. Sometimes we stay late if a test is coming up. The walls are mostly bare except for some charts I put up years ago. It’s a simple life running a tuition center in Rajiv Puram. We see the same faces every day, and I like seeing the kids grow up and move on to college. It’s just honest work in a small gali.
