This part of the city is always full of activity with trucks coming and going. Our building is a simple structure that fits in with the rest of the industrial neighborhood. Inside, it is mostly filled with the handicrafts we handle every day. We don't have a professional decorator or a fancy front desk. There is usually a pile of invoices on the table and some tea cups waiting to be washed. We spend a lot of time checking the items that come in. It’s a lot of manual work, lifting and moving things to make space. We don't have a lot of rules, we just know what needs to be done before the day ends. The noise from the nearby units is something you just get used to after a while. We aren't a big corporate entity with lots of departments. It’s just a few of us making sure everything runs okay. We don't use marketing talk because we don't really see the point. People who need what we have usually find their way to us. We’ve been in this same spot for a long time. The walls are a bit stained and the ceiling fans squeak, but it is the place we work. We just keep our heads down. When the shift ends, we go home.
