Nishan Public School

We have been here on Dalianpur Road in Karnal for a good while now. It is just a regular building where kids come every morning. Most of us who work at Nishan Public School live nearby, so we know the local families pretty well. Sometimes the road gets dusty or busy when the students are arriving, but that is just how it is around this part of town. We spend our days making sure the classrooms are ready and the fans are working. It is not a fancy place, just a school where local kids spend their time. We have a playground that sees a lot of action during the breaks. You can hear the shouting and running from a block away. Some of the desks have scratches from years of use, but they still hold up okay. We try to keep things organized, though it gets a bit chaotic when it rains and everyone crowds into the hallways. The teachers here are mostly locals who just want to do their jobs. We do not have some big corporate office or anything like that. It is just us, the books, and the students trying to get through the syllabus before the exams start. Every year we see kids grow up and move on to something else. It is always a bit quiet in the summer when they are gone, but then June comes and it starts all over again. We keep the gates open early for parents who drop kids off before work.
