If you head down Ranwar Road in Karnal, you will find us there. The school is right on the side of the road, and it’s a pretty busy route for trucks and tractors. It’s a bit out of the main city center, so there is a bit more space around us than in the middle of town. The building is a decent size, and we have a big gate that stays open during the day. Inside, it’s exactly what you would expect from a local school. There are classrooms with rows of desks and a lot of noise during the lunch breaks. We don’t have a lot of fancy technology or any of those high-tech gadgets you see in city schools. It’s more about the basics here. The playground is just a patch of ground where the kids run around, and it gets pretty muddy when it rains. We spend a lot of time just keeping the place tidy, though it’s hard with so many people coming in and out. The staff here are mostly local people from around Karnal. We don’t have a corporate handbook or a bunch of rules about how to talk to people. We just talk to the parents like we talk to anyone else on the street. It’s a simple life at the school. We open the doors, the kids show up, we do the lessons, and then everyone goes home. It’s not a complicated business.
