Lakshay Exports

Lakshay Exports is situated on Sanoli Road, very close to the New Subzi Mandi. Being so close to the vegetable market means the mornings are very busy around here. You see all sorts of people and vehicles moving about long before the sun is even fully up. Our building is a plain one, and we don't have any big signs or bright lights to show it off. We just use the space to handle all the export goods that come through our hands. Inside, it’s mostly just open space with concrete floors and some heavy-duty shelving. It gets a bit cold in the winter months because the building doesn't hold the heat very well, but we just wear extra layers and keep moving. We don't have a big team of people, just a few of us who have been doing this for years. We know the routines by heart now. Sometimes the smell from the market next door is quite strong, especially in the heat, but you stop noticing it after a while. We spend a lot of time on the phone or checking lists to make sure nothing gets missed. It’s a straightforward business without any of the fluff you see in the city offices. We like being out here near Sanoli Road where there’s a bit more room to breathe, even if it gets a bit muddy when the rains come.
