L A Traders

We operate out of the Jhandu Panama Godowns on Gaushala Road, which is in the Zhandupanna area. It is a big old warehouse space that has seen a lot of use over the years. L A Traders has been here for a while now, and we have gotten used to the way the place feels. The godowns are huge, and it can get quite cold in the winter and very hot during the summer months. There is always a lot of heavy lifting to do, moving boxes and checking the inventory by hand. We have a small office section partitioned off with some plywood where we keep the computer and the records. The floor is concrete and a bit cracked in places, but it holds up. Most of the people working here live in the surrounding neighborhoods, so we are a local bunch. We do not really have a big sign outside that you can see from far away, you just have to know which gate to come through. The trucks come in and out all day, and the drivers often stop for a bit of water and a rest. It is a very practical environment without any frills. We spend our time checking lists and making sure the right items go into the right trucks. It is hard work, but we are used to the rhythm of the warehouse. Sometimes the paperwork gets backed up, and we have to stay late to finish it, but that is just part of the job.
