Janta Polytechnic

Up in Sector 6 of Karnal, we have our polytechnic set up at House Number 1783. It’s a place where local students come to pick up some practical skills and technical knowledge they can use. We aren't a massive university with a huge sprawling campus; it’s more of a focused environment where people actually get their hands on tools and various equipment. We’ve been in this part of Haryana for a while now, and we see a lot of young folks from nearby villages and towns trying to better their future prospects. The building is actually a regular house that we’ve converted over time to fit in the classrooms and the small labs. It’s a bit crowded on some days, but that usually means people are actually busy working on something. We don't spend much on advertising or big shiny signs; word usually just spreads through the families living in the sector. It's a lot of talk about mechanics, electronics, and basic engineering principles inside these walls. We try to keep the atmosphere relaxed so students feel okay asking questions when they don't understand a specific diagram or a machine part they are looking at. It’s just a local spot for learning trade skills that can actually get someone a job in a workshop or a local factory. We focus on the basics and making sure the students know what they’re doing before they finish their course and head out to find work.
