Govt Polytechnic Nilokheri

The Govt Polytechnic Nilokheri has a really specific location that you have to look for if you’re not from around here. We are out in Village Anjanthali, which is part of the Nilokheri Tehsil in Karnal, Haryana. It’s very much a rural setting. You see the fields all around us, and the air smells like the crops depending on the season. I work here and my day usually involves a bit of travel to get to the village. It’s not like working in a city office. The building is solid and functional, sitting near the P.O. Seedhpur area. We get a lot of students from the nearby farms and small towns. They are hard-working kids who aren't afraid to get their hands dirty. The atmosphere is very practical and down-to-earth. We don't have any marketing people or fancy websites. We just have our classrooms and our workshops. Sometimes the internet is slow or the bus is late, but that’s just life in the village. We focus on the training because that’s what matters to the people here. It’s a humble place, and the staff is mostly local too. We talk in simple English or the local dialect most of the time. It’s an honest way to make a living, helping the next generation in rural Haryana find their way into a career.
