Sastha Fashion is right in the middle of Moti Mandi in Israna. If you’ve ever been to the mandi, you know how it gets. It’s loud, there are people everywhere, and there is always something happening. We’ve been here for a while now. Our shop isn't the biggest, but it’s full of stuff. We spend most of our days sorting through stacks of things and talking to the people who walk by. Israna is a good place for a business like ours because there is always a crowd. We don't have a team of designers or anything like that. We just pick what we think people will like. Sometimes we get it right, sometimes we don't. That's just how the fashion business goes in a place like Moti Mandi. We don't use fancy lighting or have a big glass front. It’s just a regular shop where we hang things up and wait for customers. We know most of the other shopkeepers around here. We share tea and complain about the weather when it’s too hot. Sastha Fashion is a simple name for a simple shop. We aren't trying to change the world. We just want to make sure people in Israna have something decent to wear without spending too much. It’s a honest living and we enjoy being part of the daily bustle here in the mandi. Sometimes the rain leaks a little near the door but we just put a bucket down. It's just part of being here.
