Most mornings start with me pulling up the shutters here at 1480, Sec. -7 in Karnal. It’s a quiet enough spot in Haryana, and I’ve been working as a Hardware Engineer in this same place for a while now. The air gets pretty dusty around here, especially when the wind picks up across 132001, so I spend a good chunk of my time just keeping the workbenches clean. I deal with a lot of different motherboards and broken components that people bring in from around the neighborhood. It isn't anything fancy. Just a small room with a lot of tools, a soldering iron that takes too long to heat up, and stacks of old parts in the corner. Sometimes the tea seller from down the road drops by, and we talk about the weather while I try to figure out why a circuit isn't behaving. Being in Sec. -7 means I see the same faces every day, which is nice. I don't really do much advertising. People just know I'm here if their computer stops turning on or if they need something replaced. It's honest work, and it keeps me busy from morning until the sun goes down. My desk is usually a mess of wires and screws, but I know where everything is. Karnal is home, and this little corner is where I do my thing, day in and day out, without much fuss.
