Handfab India

We are located right on Jattal Road. Handfab India is basically a workspace filled with fabrics and the sounds of people getting things done. Jattal Road stays pretty dusty most of the year because of all the trucks passing by, but we don’t mind it much anymore. Inside, it’s a bit of a maze with all the materials we have piled up. We have a few desks tucked into the corners where we handle the paperwork. The lighting is okay, though we rely a lot on the big windows when the sun is out. It’s a noisy place sometimes because there’s always something being moved or cut. We don’t have a receptionist or a waiting room; if someone comes by, they usually just find one of us on the floor. The tea stall down the road is where we usually get our mid-day break fix. It’s a very hands-on environment here. You’ll see threads on the floor and scraps of cloth everywhere. That’s just how it goes when you’re busy. We’ve been here for a while and the building has seen better days, but it’s sturdy. Jattal Road is a tough area, but it suits us. Handfab India isn't meant to be a showroom; it's a place where work actually happens. We just focus on the tasks at hand and try to keep things moving. There's always a bit of a breeze coming through the back door, which helps when it's humid outside.
