Design Plus Architcture Ltd

Design Plus Architcture Ltd is based out of Village Rewar in the Jind district of Haryana. The office is run by Sunil Kumar, the son of the late Jagdish Rai. It is not like the offices you see in big cities. We are out in the P.O. Dhabi Tek Singh area of Tehsil Narwana. The surroundings are mostly fields and open spaces. This influences how we think about buildings. Our office is a simple structure where we keep our tools and our records. It’s quiet here, except for the occasional tractor passing by or the sound of birds in the morning. We work on projects for the local people in the district. We don’t have a website with fancy photos or a marketing team. People know who we are because we have been here for a long time. We sit at our desks and work through the details of houses and local shops. Sometimes the power is a bit shaky, so we keep physical copies of everything just in case. It’s a very hands-on way of working. We deal with the heat and the dust just like everyone else in the village. When someone wants to build something new, they just drop by the house or the office and we talk it over. It’s a direct way of doing things without any of the corporate layers you find elsewhere. We like the quiet life here and just focus on our drawings.
