Daya Travels

We are located at number 280 in Karnal. It is right opposite the Mahabir Dal in the Old Char Chaman area. This part of town has a lot of history to it. The buildings are older and the streets are narrower than the newer sectors. Our office fits right in with the neighborhood. It is a plain space with a few desks and a lot of maps pinned to the walls. We have been here for years. You can hear the sounds of the neighborhood all day long. There are people walking by, bells from the temple, and the occasional scooter zooming past. It is not a quiet place, but it is very lively. We deal with all sorts of travel requests. Some people want to go to the mountains for a holiday, and others just need a car to take them to the airport in Delhi. We have a few drivers who have been with us for a long time. They know the roads like the back of their hands. We spend a lot of time on the phone coordinating things. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we just sit and talk until it comes back on. We do not have a website that is updated every day. Most people just walk in or call the number they have had for a decade. It is a local business through and through. We keep a ledger for everything because we still like writing things down. It feels more real.
