Bharti Milk Foods Pvt. Ltd. is located at Plot No. 1 in Budha Mhera, right on Kunjpura Road near the Karnal Airport. Being so close to the airport means we sometimes see the planes as they come in low. It’s a bit of a landmark for us. Our work starts very early in the morning because that is when the milk has to be processed. The facility is made of big rooms with stainless steel tanks and lots of pipes running along the ceilings. We spend a huge amount of time just cleaning and scrubbing everything to make sure it’s ready for the next batch. It’s a lot of physical labor, and the floor is usually damp. We don't have any fancy corporate offices here. There’s just a small space with a couple of desks for the paperwork and the phone. Kunjpura Road is a busy route, and we see a lot of traffic passing by our gate. We have a small crew of workers who live in the nearby villages. They are reliable people who just get on with their jobs without much fuss. We don't have a website with big promises or a sales team. We just focus on the dairy processing and making sure the temperature is right in the cold storage. It’s a steady, repetitive job that requires a lot of attention to detail. We’ve been at this plot for a while now and it suits us fine.
