Arun Hair Cutting Saloon

Arun Hair Cutting Saloon is located in Village Patikliyana, right near the GT Road in Samalkha. Being so close to the highway means we get all sorts of people stopping by. We are in the Samalkha tehsil of Panipat 132101. The shop is a small one-room building that we've painted a couple of times over the years. We have two old chairs and a big mirror that’s got a small crack in the corner. It doesn't bother anyone though. People come here for a quick cut or a shave and to hear the latest gossip from the village. We don't have air conditioning, just a ceiling fan that wobbles a bit when it’s on the high setting. In the summer, we keep the door open to catch whatever breeze comes off the road. It can be noisy with the trucks going past on the GT Road but we are used to it by now. We don't use any fancy gels or sprays. Just a water bottle, a comb, and a sharp pair of scissors. It’s a simple life and the work is steady. Most of our customers have been coming to us since they were kids. We know who likes their hair short and who wants to keep their beard a certain way. We aren't trying to be a high-end parlor, just a place for a decent haircut for the locals here in Panipat.
