Anwar Masale

Anwar Masale is located in Nizampur on the Main Road, right near Munshi Mohalla. If you are looking for us, just look for the shop that’s a bit dusty from all the grinding. We’ve been here for years, and the smell of the spices is stuck in our clothes even when we go home at night. It’s a small place, mostly taken up by the machines and the bags of raw ingredients. We don’t have a fancy office or a place for people to sit and wait. Most people just stand by the counter while we get their stuff ready. The noise of the grinders can be pretty loud, so we have to shout sometimes to hear each other. We are right on the main road, so there’s always people passing by and popping their heads in. We keep things very simple here. There are no computers or high-tech gadgets. We use old scales and paper bags. It’s the way we’ve always done it and it works for the people in Munshi Mohalla. We aren't trying to be the biggest business around, we just want to do our work and go home to our families. Some days the heat is a bit much, but we just drink some cold water and keep going. It’s just us doing what we know best and trying to get everything bagged up before the day ends. It’s a noisy, dusty, but good way to make a living.
