A M Information Technology

Defense Colony is where we have our little setup for A M Information Technology. It’s a quiet enough area compared to the main markets, which is nice when you are trying to look at computer screens all day. We have a couple of rooms here filled with wires, old monitors, and some newer parts waiting to be used. Most of the time, the floor is covered in boxes because stuff is always coming in or going out. It isn't very tidy but we know where everything is. People from around the colony walk in when their laptops stop working or if they need something printed. We spend a lot of time sitting in these rolling chairs, drinking tea and trying to figure out why a particular piece of software is acting up. It gets hot in the afternoons, so the little AC unit works hard to keep things cool. We don’t have a big sign or anything flashy, just the name on the door so people know they found the right place. Sometimes the internet goes slow and we have to wait it out like everyone else. It’s just us doing our work, keeping things running for the neighbors. There is always a hum of fans from the server racks in the back room. We don’t really do big meetings; mostly just quick chats over the counter about what needs fixing. It’s a simple way to spend the day, working with tech in a residential spot like this. We've been at this for a few years now and it suits us fine.
