Our business is based out of Baregala Gudem village, specifically at house number 2-2-22. It is a quiet place in Gambhiraopet, far away from the big city rush of Karimnagar. We have these big earthmoving machines that stay parked in the open yard when they are not out on a job. They are heavy and yellow and they collect a lot of mud and dust from the work sites. Most of our days are spent checking the engines or making sure the buckets and arms are moving like they should. It is hard work and the sun gets really hot out here in the open, but we are used to it. We don't have a big office with air conditioning. Instead, we sit under the shade of the porch or near the machines and talk to the drivers. Sometimes people from the village stop by to ask if we can help with some digging or leveling their land. We just write things down in a notebook and figure out the schedule. It isn't a complicated way of doing things, but it works for us. The machines make a lot of noise when they start up, which usually lets the whole neighborhood know we are getting to work. We have been in this spot for years and everyone around here knows where to find us if they need some heavy lifting done. It’s just us and our machines out here in the village, keeping busy with whatever work comes our way each day.
