Maruthi Earth Movers

We run Maruthi Earth Movers from our home base at house 1-82 in Ramnoor village. Being in Velgatoor mandal means we travel around Karimnagar a lot for different projects. We have some heavy machinery that we use for digging and moving dirt. It’s a tough job and the equipment needs a lot of grease and maintenance. I spend a lot of time checking the engines and making sure everything is running. The yard in Ramnoor is where we park the machines when we aren't at a site. It gets very muddy when it rains, which makes moving the big tires difficult. I usually have a couple of guys who help with the operating and the repairs. We work on local construction sites or help farmers with their land. It isn't a fancy business. Our clothes are always stained with dirt and oil. We eat our lunch sitting on the tracks of the machines most days. People in the village know us well. They come by the house if they have a project starting up. We don't do much advertising. The work we do speaks for itself. Karimnagar has plenty of work if you're willing to get your hands dirty. We just take it one day at a time and try to keep the machines in good shape. It’s been our life for quite some years now.
