Saraswathi Vidyalayam

We have been here in Pegadapalli for quite some time now. People in Peddapalli know where Saraswathi Vidyalayam is. It is just a regular school where kids come every morning. Most of them walk from nearby houses. The building isn't fancy or anything, but it works for us. We have classrooms with wooden benches and blackboards. The teachers are mostly locals who have been teaching here for years. They know the parents and the kids personally. Sometimes it gets a bit noisy during break time, but that's just how it is with children around. We try to keep things simple. Classes start on time and we follow the usual subjects. In the afternoons, you can see the students playing in the small open space we have. It’s not a huge playground, but they manage. The dust flies around when they run, and we usually have to tell them to wash up before going home. Rain can be a bit of a problem because the roads in this part of Pegadapalli get muddy. But the kids don't seem to mind much. We just focus on getting through the lessons every day. It is a quiet life here. We don't have big events or famous people visiting. Just normal days with books and exams. Most of our furniture is old but we fix it when it breaks. It’s just a place for the local children to learn their basics and grow up. I think we have around eighty students right now. It's enough to keep us busy from morning till the final bell.
