Messurs Sampurna Travelers is a family-run thing based out of Shankarapatnam Village in Kannapur. The address is H. No 5-65, and it’s the home of D. Sampurna, who is the daughter of Devunoori Rajamallu. We’ve been helping people get around for a while now. It’s not a big corporate travel agency with a glass front and computers everywhere. Mostly, we handle things over the phone or people just walk up to the house to talk about where they need to go. We deal with car bookings and helping folks plan their trips to nearby towns or for weddings and functions. The desk is usually covered in notebooks and crumpled receipts. My father started this and we just keep it going because people in the village know they can count on us to find a driver or a vehicle. Sometimes the internet is slow, so we have to do things the old-fashioned way with a pen and paper. It’s a quiet life here in Kannapur, away from the big city noise. We know the roads around here like the back of our hands. If a car breaks down or a driver is late, we’re the ones who have to fix it, which can be stressful. But seeing a family head off on a trip with big smiles makes the long hours worth it. We just do our best every day and keep the cars moving.
