Karbi Hills Mohila Farmers Producercompany Limited

We are located in Vill-Dhansiri Adarsha, which is under the Dhansiripar post office area. This is out in the Karbi Anglong district, near Diphu. Karbi Hills Mohila Farmers Producer Company Limited is mostly made up of women from the local villages around here. We spend a lot of our time together working on farming projects and trying to manage the business side of things too. It is a very green area, and the hills are always there in the background. Life in the village moves at its own pace, and we try to keep up with the seasons. Our office is a simple one, nothing too loud or flashy. We mostly sit and discuss how the crops are doing and what we need to buy for the next planting. It can be a challenge balancing the work at home with the work for the company, but we manage somehow. The local police station is over in Diphu, which is a bit of a drive from us. Most people here know each other by name, so news travels fast. We don't use any big words or have complicated meetings. It is just about getting the work done so we can support our homes. Sometimes the rain makes the roads difficult, but we still show up. It is a good way for us to stay connected and work on things for the community. We aren't doing anything fancy, just normal everyday work out here in the hills.
