Ashish Memorial Public Senior Secondary School

Being in Hindaun City, things are always a bit busy around the school grounds. Ashish Memorial Public Senior Secondary School is right in the thick of the town area. We have students from all over this part of Hindaun. The building is a couple of stories high and we have quite a few rooms for the older students since we go all the way up to the senior secondary level. It’s a lot of responsibility keeping track of everyone, especially when the board exams are coming up and the stress levels get high. Our teachers spend a lot of time at their desks grading papers and talking to the kids about their futures and their studies. We have a small playground, but it’s mostly used for the morning assembly and some PT exercises. You can hear the traffic from the main road sometimes during the lessons, but the students and staff are used to it by now. We don't have a big corporate office or any fancy reception, just a small room where the records are kept in big metal cupboards. Most of our staff have been here for a long time. We drink tea together in the small break room and talk about how to get the kids to focus more on their books. It’s just a regular life here, trying to make sure the school stays open and the lessons get taught every day. We don't have fancy gadgets, just books, chalk, and a lot of patience.
