We are located right on Athangudi Road, not far from the Surya Athangudi Tiles place. Being near the tile shops means there is always a lot of traffic and people moving heavy things around. Our business is mostly about tarpaulins and covers. We have stacks of heavy fabric and plastic sheets everywhere in the shop at number 18. It gets really bright out here during the day, so we appreciate the shade inside. People come to us when they need to cover their trucks or protect their crops from the rain. We spend a lot of time measuring out big sections of material on the floor. It’s a bit of a workout moving those heavy rolls around. Sometimes the wind picks up and we have to make sure everything is tied down tight. My brother and I run the daily operations, and we have a couple of helpers who know how to handle the stitching machines. It isn't a quiet job, but we like being part of the bustle on this road. We see a lot of the same drivers coming through every month. It’s just how things work in this part of town. We don't have any fancy displays or a website that works right. People just know where we are and they stop by when they need something sturdy to protect their goods. We just keep our heads down and finish the work as it comes in.
