Cindrella Printers

We are over at No 4 in Sekkalai. The shop is not huge but it is enough for the machines we have running. There is always the smell of ink and paper when you walk in. It is one of those smells you get used to after a few days of working here. We handle a lot of different jobs like printing wedding invitations or just simple business cards for people in the area. The machines make a rhythmic clicking sound that goes on all day long. Sometimes we have stacks of paper piled up high on the side tables waiting to be cut or folded. Sekkalai is a nice place to be and we see a lot of the same faces every week. We usually have the front door open to let some air in because the machines can get a bit warm after running for a few hours. It is a hands-on kind of job where our fingers often end up with a bit of blue or black ink on them by noon. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us making sure the paper feeds through correctly and nothing gets jammed. If a machine breaks down, we spend the afternoon with tools trying to get it moving again. It is a practical life and we just keep busy with whatever work comes in from the street. We don't have any big signs, just the shop and the work we do.
