Vanjore Silicates

Our place is down at 92/1 in Keezhaiyur, which is part of T.R. Pattinam. Being near the coast means we get that salty air and a lot of humidity, which sometimes makes the floors a bit sticky. We run Vanjore Silicates from this spot. It’s a practical business, nothing too glamorous. The work involves a lot of mixing and moving heavy bags, so we all stay pretty active. Our building is a simple one, with a tin roof that makes a lot of noise when it rains. We have been here for years, and the locals are used to the sound of our machines humming during the day. We don't have a big marketing team or anyone in a suit. Usually, we are just in our work clothes, covered in a bit of dust by the time evening rolls around. There is a small tea shop just around the corner where we usually go to get a drink and talk about what needs to be done for the next day. The pace of life in T.R. Pattinam is steady, and we try to match that. We aren't in a hurry to grow into some giant corporation; we just want to keep making our silicates and making sure the orders go out to the people who need them. It is a basic, no-nonsense kind of life, and we are quite content with the way things are going.
