Shakti Agrotech

We set up Shakti Agrotech right across from the Hyundai showroom on Peth Sangli Road. It's an easy place to find if you're coming through Islampur. The main thing we do here is supply stuff for farmers and people working the land around here. It’s mostly seeds, tools, and things that help crops grow better. The shop smells a bit like earth and fertilizer, which is normal for this kind of work. We get a lot of guys stopping by in their trucks early in the morning before they head out to the fields. Sometimes we sit out front and talk about the weather or how the harvest is looking this year. It's a practical business. We don't have anything shiny or corporate looking here. The floor is concrete and we move heavy bags around all day long. My brother and I run the place usually. If someone needs advice on what to plant, we tell them what we've heard from other local farmers. We aren't experts, but we see what works. The road outside gets busy with tractors and cars, but it's quiet enough inside. We keep the books in a drawer and try to stay on top of what's in stock. It’s honest work and keeps us busy from dawn till dusk most days of the week. We might close a bit early if there’s a festival in town.
