L G N Vegetables

If you come out to Ahirwadi, you will see L G N Vegetables. Our place is right in the Tal-Walwa area, which is pretty close to Islaam Pur, so most people from the town know how to get here. We deal with the local produce that comes in from the fields nearby. The work starts very early for us, usually well before the sun is even up. That is when the crates start arriving and we have to get everything sorted out. It is a bit of a messy job sometimes with the dirt and the water, but that is just part of working with food. We have been in this spot for a good while and the neighbors are all friendly. The building is simple, just enough to keep the sun off the goods. We don't have any fancy cooling systems or big displays. We just put things out and people come by to see what we have for the day. Sometimes the floor gets a bit wet when we are cleaning up, so you have to watch your step. We try to keep things moving so nothing sits around for too long. My brother and I run the day-to-day things here. It is a lot of lifting and moving boxes back and forth. We don't really do much talking, we just get to the work. It is a quiet life in Saher and we like it that way.
