Partap Enterprises

We are located right near the Post Office in Karad, just off N.H.- 4. Partap Enterprises has been a fixture here for a while. Being so close to the highway means we see a lot of people passing through, but most of our regulars are from the surrounding area. The shop is a bit cramped because we keep a lot of inventory on hand. You have to watch your step so you don’t trip over a crate. It’s a family-run thing, really. My uncle started it, and now a few of us take turns managing the desk and the warehouse. We deal with all sorts of supplies, mostly plastic-based stuff. It’s not the kind of work that gets you famous, but it’s honest and keeps the lights on. Sometimes the deliveries are late because of traffic on the national highway, and we have to explain that to the customers waiting outside. They usually understand since they live around here too. We don't use any big words or try to act like a giant company. We just open up early, sweep the front, and see who needs help that day. The roof leaks a tiny bit when the monsoon is heavy, so we have to move the stock around, but we manage. It is just a regular local business where we know most people by their first names and try to be helpful whenever we can.
