Subiksha Imports And Exports is tucked away in Karumankoodal, right near Mondaikadu in Nagercovil. It’s a nice area, very local, and we’ve been operating out of here for a good while. Dealing with imports and exports sounds like it might be complicated, and some days it really is, but mostly it’s just a lot of checking lists and making sure the containers are ready. We don't have a big marketing team or anyone to write fancy speeches for us. It is just the staff here getting the work done. The office is small and filled with files, and you can usually hear the sounds of the neighborhood outside. Nagercovil has its own pace, and we try to stick to that. We handle a variety of goods coming in and going out, so there is always something different happening each week. Sometimes the power goes out or the rain makes things slow, but that’s just life here. We don’t put on airs about what we do. It’s hard work, often dusty, and involves a lot of waiting for customs or transport trucks to arrive. But we like the routine of it. Being in Mondaikadu feels right for us because we are close to the people we know. We just focus on the day-to-day tasks and try not to overcomplicate things. If the work gets done and the customers are satisfied, that is a good day for us.
