Our office is down in the south in Kanyakumari district. We are at 12A/2 in the Rj Complex, which is in the Mettukadai area of Thuckalay. It is quite a long way from the big cities, and that changes how we work. The Rj Complex is a local landmark for us. Thuckalay is a smaller town, so things move a bit slower here, which is nice. We are in the 629175 area of Tamil Nadu. The office itself is just a few rooms where we have our computers and some storage for our equipment. It is not a fancy tech hub with bean bags or anything like that. We have regular plastic chairs and wooden tables. Sometimes the power cuts out, so we just wait it out or find something else to do. Being in Kanyakumari means we get some pretty heavy rain during the monsoon, and you can hear it drumming on the roof of the complex. We usually know everyone who walks past the door. Most of us live nearby, so the commute isn't too bad unless the main road is blocked for a festival or something. We just come in, do our bits and pieces on the systems, and go home. It is a steady way of living. We do not have a big corporate manual, we just know what needs to be done and we do it.
