Pandian Dental Clinic

Down here in Kaliakkavilai, Pandian Dental Clinic has been part of the landscape for a while. It’s a small town, so word travels fast, and we mostly get people coming in because their cousin or neighbor told them to. The clinic is simple. We have the dental chair, the tools, and a small area where people wait their turn. It gets pretty hot during the day, so the ceiling fans are always going full speed. We don't use a lot of fancy words or complicated systems. When someone has a toothache, they come in, we take a look, and we fix it if we can. I’ve lived in this area my whole life, so I recognize almost everyone who walks in. We talk about the local news or the weather while we work. It’s not a sterile, cold environment. It feels like a normal part of the town. We have regular hours, but sometimes people knock on the door after we’ve closed if they’re in a lot of pain. We try to help out when that happens. The street outside is usually busy with people going about their business, and you can hear the buses passing by. It’s a loud, lively place. We keep things honest and just do the work that needs doing. There isn't any big secret to it, just showing up every day and helping people with their teeth as best as we can.
