Maria School Of Music

Maria School of Music is on the Rajakkamangalam Road in Nagercoil. We are located inside the Louiew Tower at 49B, right in the Chetti Kulam area. It’s a busy part of town with a lot of shops and people moving around. When you walk into our space, the first thing you notice is the sound. There’s usually someone practicing the piano in one room while a guitar is being tuned in another. It’s a bit of a mix of different sounds all at once. We have several small rooms set up for individual lessons. It’s not a huge place, so it can feel a bit cramped when we have a lot of students arriving at the same time for the evening sessions. The walls are thin, so you can hear everything. Most of the people who come here are students from nearby schools or adults who want to learn something new after they finish their jobs. We have some old instruments that we keep for practice, and they’ve got a lot of character. The floors are just plain tile, and we have some chairs lined up in the hallway for parents to sit while they wait. It’s a very casual atmosphere. We don’t go in for big performances or anything too formal; it’s mostly just about getting the notes right. Being in Louiew Tower makes it easy for people to find us since it's a well-known building in Chetti Kulam.
