Kidsken International Pre-School & Child Care

Our place is at 11L in the New State Bank Colony, right off Asaripallam Road in Nagercoil. It’s a nice enough residential area which makes it a good spot for a pre-school and child care center. The house we use has been converted to fit the needs of small children, so there are colorful mats on the floor and low shelves for toys. It’s not a giant institutional building; it feels more like a home that has been rearranged for kids. Every morning there is a bit of a rush when parents drop their children off before heading to work. We have a small yard where they can run around for a bit when the weather isn't too hot. The staff here are local people who are good with kids and don't mind the noise that comes with the job. We have a kitchen where we handle basic things and a quiet area for when the younger ones need a nap. It gets quite lively during the day with all the playing and shouting, but things settle down in the afternoon. We don't have a big corporate team or anything like that. It’s just a few of us making sure the children are fed, safe, and learning their basic ABCs. We deal with the usual stuff like scraped knees and lost lunchboxes every other day. It’s a busy, sometimes messy, but very honest way to spend the day in Nagercoil.
